Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Barcelona defender Marc Bartra as he's available for a cut-price fee, according to the Mirror.
Bartra is available for £6.4million this summer as a result of playing just 14 games for Barcelona this season. His lack of game time has also frustrated the 25-year-old, who will feel it's time to push on with his career.
Spurs will seem an attractive prospect considering their young, exciting team and progressive manager in Mauricio Pochettino. They also have a new state-of-the-art stadium on the way and Champions League football to look forward to next season.
However, with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer already at Spurs, it'll be hard for Bartra to earn and hold down a starting place. Perhaps he'd prefer to stay in Spain, with Valencia and Sevilla also eager to recruit him.
