Manchester City have looked a shadow of their normal selves without their talismanic midfielder Yaya Toure and it looks like he'll be badly missed in the upcoming crunch clash against Chelsea.
Toure is away on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations. Instead of lining up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Toure will be preparing to represent his country against Algeria.
Since joining City in 2010, Toure has only missed 22 Premier League games and the stats show how important he is to the side. City are weaker in win percentage, points per game, goals, shots, goals conceded and shots conceded when Yaya isn't around to boss the midfield.
We're thinking that City fans will almost be as desperate for Algeria to get a result as they are for their own team.
