There has been a whirlwind of speculation surrounding Mesut Özil and his Arsenal future, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich interested in the German 'Assist King'. However, in Arsenal's game against Watford this weekend, Özil gave fans the sign they so desperately needed from their star man.
Having criticised the club's collapse in the title race and as a result receiving criticism from Arsene Wenger, Özil seemed less than contented in what appears to be an Arsenal side that simply don't have the killer instinct that wins you Premier League titles. But it seems that Özil's heart is in Arsenal and perhaps his unwillingness to fail will be the force that drives Arsenal on a late title charge.
Fans will be hoping that a new contract is on the way, with rumoured fees of up to £200k per-week in the offing for Özil.
