Twitter Reacts As Monaco Trounce Arsenal At The Emirates
In a surprising night at the Emirates, Arsene Wenger heard a cacophony of booing fans as he watched his Arsenal side defeated by his former employers Monaco. Arsenal - once again suffering from a lack of solidity at the back - lost 3-1 to the Monegasque outfit, who put the Gunners to the sword with one goal from long-term target Geoffrey Kondogbia, another from young Belgian Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco, and another from another famous scourge of theirs: Dimitar Berbatov, the slick poacher who scored against them for Tottenham, United and Fulham. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted a late consolation goal for the Gunners, who now have it all to do in the return leg at the Stade Louis II Stadium.
