Arsenal clawed their way back to a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford today, but it was Aaron Ramsey's lovely nutmeg on his opposite man Ander Herrara that had Gooners purring.
Herrera was the man who opened the scoring with a neat far post finish from a cross courtesy of Ashley young, who now has more assists this campaign than the past two seasons combined. Theo Walcott pulled one back late on courtesy of a big deflection off Tyler Blackett.
Somewhere in-between the two events, when Ramsey had moved inside, the Welshman provided us with a moment of brilliance. He opened his body as if to pass round Herrera, but instead stuck it between the Spaniard's legs. Taxi!
Herrera had a tidy game overall, but he was outdone by Aaron Ramsey who, especially when moved into the middle, showed his real class, playing a truly awesome ball to assist Walcott late on.
However, if you cast your mind back to the first league fixture at the Emirates, Herrera sent Ramsey sliding back to the valleys. This could be the birth of an interesting and entertaining midfield battle in one of the biggest fixtures in English football.
