The fact that Spurs have managed to keep hold of Harry Kane after a season which had all the Premiership's big guns sniffing around is a feat in itself.
Even better news is that Pochettino has lined up an exciting prospect to play alongside the young Englishman next season in the shape of 21 year old Belgian Michy Batshuayi, according to the Mirror.
It's understood Spurs have targeted the £9m rated forward as a cheaper alternative to Christian Benteke, priced at an astounding £32m by an understandably reluctant Villa.
The young Batshuayi scored 11 in all comps for Marseille last year, which included one for the national side against Cyprus.
With four Belgians already at The Lane including latest signing Toby Alderweireld, Spurs have a strong contingent which could be a deciding factor in attracting young players like Batshuayi from the talented nation.
What do you reckon, Spurs fans? Is this an exciting time with a team full of young talent, or is it important not to overlook experience when challenging for a European place? Let us know in the comments below.
