In the last couple of games, Jordon Ibe appears to have established himself as the next superstar to emerge from Liverpool's academy, following hot on the heels of Raheem Sterling with two stellar performances against Everton and Tottenham. However, Ibe's emergence - whilst perhaps a shock to the rest of English football - is no surprise to Liverpool fans; or, for that matter, Wycombe Wanderers fans, who will no doubt remember Ibe exploding onto the scene as a fresh-faced 15 year-old.
Incredibly, Ibe played 11 games in League One for Wycombe as a 15 year-old before being snapped up by Liverpool, and marked his spell there with a phenomenal solo goal in his first start for the Wanderers. In the clip, Ibe - who, let's not forget here, is FIFTEEN YEARS OLD - bursts past two men with excellent pace and footwork, before surging forward towards goal, and bisecting two defenders and the goalkeeper with his rocket of a shot. Ibe then ran the length of the pitch to celebrate with his mother; a move which saw him booked for timewasting. Talk about raining on the lad's parade.
