According to reports in the Independent today, Liverpool and Chelsea are both looking to make a dramatic swoop for Man Utd and Colombia striker Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian international has found himself out of favour at Old Trafford lately, finding himself in the embarrassing situation of playing in the u21s. It's not gone unnoticed at rival Premiership clubs it seems, as Liverpool look to find the sort of potential which gave the 29 year old his reputation.
Falcao is still a Monaco player and it's highly unlikely Man Utd will want to extend their loan deal or sign him on a full time basis. A loan deal at Anfield was one rumour touted by the Mail Online, while The Independent cited Chelsea and Spurs as potentially interested in signing Falcao.
What do you think Liverpool / Chelsea fans? Are Man Utd making a mistake by tossing him aside which you could capitalise on? Or is it the case that if he can't do it at Man Utd, why would he be any different at Stamford Bridge or Anfield? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
