The success of the former non-league footballer Jamie Vardy this season should encourage Premier League clubs to look further down the food chain and it looks like Chelsea are doing just that.
Ademola Lookman was playing for Waterloo FC until 2014 when he joined Charlton. Making his first-team debut for the Addicks in November, the 18-year old has quickly established himself and attracted the attention of major clubs.
With Charlton looking doomed to relegation to League One, the South London club would struggle to turn down a bid in the region of £5m. Reports claim that Chelsea are leading the queue to take advantage of Charlton's plight.
As you'll see from these videos of Lookman in action, he has an eye for a spectacular goal. Regardless of Charlton's claims, it seems likely that we'll be seeing him in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
