The Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard scored a crucial goal for England yesterday as the the U21 side defeated Sweden.
Lingard came off the bench to score the decisive goal in a 1- victory. The 22-year old showed great composure to volley home in the 85th minute.
Louis van Gaal picked Lingard only once last season before the attacking midfielder made a loan move to Derby. This followed spells in the Championship with Leicester, Birmingham and Brighton.
Given his age it's surely time for Lingard to be given an opportunity in the Premier League, but will it come at Old Trafford or will he have to move elsewhere to get his chance?
