Ever wondered what constitutes an award winning roundabout? No, neither had we since we heard the news that the 2014 Roundabout of the Year award had been announced.
The winner can be found in Stonehills, on the A38 in Gloucestershire, and hosts a £70,000 statue of a horse holding with a flag.
Kevin Beresford, president of the Roundabout Appreciation Society, said "This sums up what is so enchanting about roundabouts. Anything can go on a roundabout, which is the reason why the British love their traffic islands."
And here it is......
Already buzzing for next year.
