Featuring pistols, tightropes and bowler hats.

Sometimes, it does seem like people put a bit more time and attention into things in the 60s and 70s. Generally, the music was better and the movies were better back then. It makes sense then, that the film posters should have been better too. This new collection from Eye Sea proves this theory right. Produced in the depths of Cold War Poland, these film, theatre and circus posters have resurfaced, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Click through for the entire collection, featuring work from Wilkor Gorka, Waldemar Swierzy and Jerzy Flisak.

It was seeing stuff like this in the 60s that made me want to become a graphic artist. Excellent.
