Bonfort Swiss Army Knife

If you’ve ever been a scout or a guide or enjoy nothing more than a weekend in a tent pitting your wits against nature and all the elements have to offer then you’ll know the value of a good multi purpose knife.

Cutting edge

It’s doubtful though that you’ll be wanting to take this particular tool along on your next expedition, as at the best part of  £36,000 it’s a touch more expensive than most others in the camping shop. Based on the 74mm Executive-type Victorinox Swiss Army knife, the shell is made of  either pure platinum or yellow gold depending on your fancy and is set in four carats of flawless diamonds – that’s 430 stones.  Swiss company Bonfort have only produced 120 of each model so you’ll have to move fast, though sadly it doesn’t seem to have the tool for removing stones out of horse’s hooves.
