For over 30 years Tom Wood turned his lens to the people of Merseyside with striking results. Now his images are being exhibited at the Photographers Gallery...

Between 1973 and the early noughties, Irish born photographer Tom Wood extensively shot beautiful images of the people of Merseyside that have now been curated into an exhibition at the Photographer's Gallery. Of the selection here, our favourite has to be Not New Miss Brighton, and we'll be popping down next week to have a butcher's at the full exhibition.
