Ukraine Parliament Descends Into Mass Brawl

Now this is what's meant by becoming passionate about politics. Either that or someone tried to up the tax on Vodka...

It’s refreshing to see this kind of passion about language, education and politics. Could you imagine David Cameron and Ed Miliband squaring up to each other in the House of Commons? Wouldn’t happen would it. Everyone goes mental here if Cameron tells an elderly man to take his pension early, or if an MP says something vaguely untoward on Twitter.

What this has surely revealed, above everything else, is exactly how elections should be decided from now on. All the candidates get into a room and duke it out, Royal Rumble style. Last man standing wins. Now there’s a manifesto I can get behind.
