We're in a global recession, if you hadn't heard, and the first thing to go is an advertising budget apparently. So, when someone sent us this photo of a new, very direct marketing campaign by Waitrose, we were somewhat taken aback. We can't really argue with it though, you can advertise all the cheap bread and detergent you want, it won't have the same effect as calling your prospective customer a c*nt.
