This year FOUND Festival is about to embark on its third outing in London, as a one day festival devoted to the very best house and techno. Delivered by the cutting edge, new wave acts on our radar, alongside established stalwarts from across Europe, FOUND Festival has evolved to become our most creative project.

This year it forms part of a new series of events, as we present 400 artists, 30 stages, 5 festivals and 4 parks across the summer, all taking place in the city we love - London! It was a club series we started with when we first conjured up Found in 2011. and this set of tunes is a snapshot of that journey and the eclectic sounds that have influenced our summer programme this year.

Words by James Benenson - Founder of the FOUND Series

Fatback Band - I Found Lovin'

Damian Lazarus closed FOUND Festival 2015 with the aptly named funk classic, 'I Found Lovin'. The sun was setting on Haggerston Park and it was one of those goosebumps moments. We were definitely feeling the love.

MK - Burning

Before taking over the world of dance music for the second time with a new lease of life, MK joined us for the first FOUND Street Party back in 2012. We shut down a street on the edge of Shoreditch, surrounded by some of the most powerful banking buildings in London whilst MK, Todd 'The God' Edwards, Huxley & Paul Woolford played out of the top of a vintage army truck. When 'Burning' dropped people went mad. It was the first time I really saw FOUND in a new light and knew then that the parties could one day become very special.

Double 99 - Rip Groove

New York house royalty Todd Terry came with some serious 90s grooves on the FOUND Festival 2014 main stage. Following hours of rain at our debut festival, the sun finally appeared and Todd captured the moment perfectly with this UKG classic.

Frankie Knuckles - Your Love

Dropped by the man himself at our second Street Party where Frankie played one of his last UK sets before his sad passing a few months afterwards. We'll never forget that party, working with Frankie or the moment everyone had been waiting for: when he finally dropped 'Your Love'.

New Order - Blue Monday

Found resident twin DJ duo extraordinaire, the world famous Menendez Brothers, are well known in London for starting a party: sometimes with house, sometimes with techno, often hip-hop or maybe garage...the list goes on. At the first Found Halloween Horror Series last year, it was this 80s classic that saw the crowd go mad for the Bros.

Ralph Falcon - Whateva (Dub Remix)

This really needs to be heard in the club to be appreciated. When Ellen Allien played her first set for Found, she opened with this. It was the start of a super energised yet effortlessly brilliant techno onslaught that only an artist with the heritage and experience of someone like Ellen can deliver.

FCL - Let's Go

Will Saul played our first Street Party After Party in a Shoreditch warehouse back in 2012. I don't remember much but I do remember some serious hype on this!

Dense & Pika - Colt

Dense & Pika dropped it at the festival last year. I remember because I was stuck in one of the on-site office cabins dealing with some issue or other and remember hearing the crowd go nuts for this.

Caribou - Can't Do Without You (Tale Of Us & Mano Le Tough Remix)

Mano Le Tough played his FOUND debut at the Halloween Horror Series last year and closed with one of the year's biggest remixes and one of the biggest drops of the night.

Justin Timberlake - Senorita

No, this isn't a typo. Breach headlined our VIP at the first festival and turned it into one of the best places to party that day, loaded with classics and music that made us smile. Then this pop banger from JT, which Breach proceeded to sing along to on the mic, along with everyone in the crowd. Festival vibes.

FOUND is going down on the 13th  June. You'll be wanting to get tickets, which you can do right HERE
