Japanese Subway Etiquette Posters From The 70s
Using Superheros, pop art, samurais, Hitler and Jesus to teach Japanese people the etiquette of the underground has produced some of the greatest poster art we've ever seen...
These posters were used to teach Japaneses commuters the etiquette of the subway in the 70s. They were so bright and unusual that people no doubt paid more notice to them than the dreary obvious ones we have nowadays. Also obvious is the fact that the Japanese were once obsessed with forgetting their umbrellas!
We found these at Pink Tentacle
