The most important Manchester Derby since the dawn of time ended with a 1-0 win for roberto Mancini's team. But the real burning issue was the actual handbags between him and Fergie. Check out Handbags+...
This morning, we imagine arguments will rage in factories, offices, cafes and pubs between Manchester United and Manchester City fans. For the red half of the city, the jury will be out on the negative team selection and the way Fergie seemed to play into Mancini’s hands, for the blue half, when they have sobered up, they will surely focus on how Mancini has found his best team when it matters most. Straight after the game last night we broadcast Episode Three of Handbags+ on Google+ Hangouts.
If you missed the live show, you can watch it now on our YouTube channel. Hosted by James Brown and featuring ex-Heat Editor Sam Delaney, Barnsley Keeper David Preece, Manchester United fan and author Sam Pilger plus our very own Owen Blackhurst, we looked at everything from the appearance of Maradona, whether Fergie would’ve used a Glasgow kiss or a flying elbow to deck Mancini and the selection of Park and Giggs ahead of Valencia and Welbeck.
