Watch Handbags+ Why Liverpool's Carroll Should Start Over Manchester United's Welbeck
England's first win of Euro 2012 over Sweden largely impressed the Handbags+ panel, yet the game raised a number of difficult selection decisions to be made before the Ukraine game.
Handbags+ Why Liverpool’s Carroll Should Start Over Manchester United’s Welbeck
The Handbags+ panel were largely enthused and excited by England’s victory over Sweden. Despite the three points, there were a number of issues raised by the performance for the panel to chew over. After their disappointing performances, do Milner and Young deserve to retain their place for the Ukraine match? Should Walcott come in for one of them? Or did his performance suggest he was better as an impact sub? Carroll and Welbeck both scored beauties, but who should partner Rooney on Tuesday?
All of these issues, and more, are expertly discussed and debated in this Handbags +. The show was hosted by Sabotage Times regular, and Barnsley keeper David Preece, fresh from two weeks on a sun lounger. He is joined by this cast of miscreants…
Ben Cove – Sabotage Times writer, Editor of bet.unibet.com, lazy striker and semi-pro Danny Dyer lookalike.
Daniel Eriksson – Editor of Swedish Four Four Two and Liverpool fan
Sam Drew - Sabotage Times Arsenal blogger and editor of Chronicles of Almunia
James Calder - Scotland fan living in Spain, Sabotage Times writer and a man who has fallen back in love with football because of Euro 2012
And last but never least, Sabotage Times Associate Editor Owen Blackhurst, a Liverpool fan who will spend the show crowing about Carroll.
You can watch the show LIVE on Google+ at 1pm, or alternatively wait for it to appear on YouTube at 1.45pm.

Caroll ahead of Welbeck. Are you on drugs?
Why is it a question of who will partner Rooney? Carrol gives the team the kind of physical presence and height that is so sorely missing whenever Rooney takes his position up front - not a hope in hell would Rooney have been able to leap up so markedly over the defense to put the ball away in the manner that Carrol did. Nor does Rooney possess the technical skills or verve to have put the ball into the net the way Wellbeck managed. So though I know it won't happen, I'd leave Rooney on the bench and stick with Carrol and Wellbeck, even though I don't think the latter contributed much to the game other than his goal. Rooney is a piece of crap who holds England back because of his many technical and physical flaws, and I say that as a United supporter of over 40 years standing. In the long run England would do better to come to terms with the severe limitations Rooney imposes on the side and look to build towards a team with more suitable footballers.
They're both second rate, but Carroll is the worse of the two. Rooney and Welbeck for me.
Timbo! I think you are losing your mind. I also think Rooney lacks alot of skills but so do the rest of the England Team.Rooney is the best footballer in the England team.England Team without Rooney and Wilshere is ordinary as you watched against Sweden. The problem with Rooney is that he can't protect the ball and he looses possession but so does the rest of the team.
John, are you mental? You hold Wilshere, who has 5 caps and around 50 first team games to his name, in the same regard as Rooney? My God.
You need to keep a reasonably strong MUFC presence so the nation has a selection of scapegoats to select from when England eventually capitulate.
