How Did Porn Turn Normal Sex Into A Fetish?

Have you ever thought about how porn has changed the way we get down to it? If Aliens wanted to check our mating practices, watching porn would probably raise more questions than it would answer...

I like porn. Let’s make that clear. Even when it’s not erotic it’s usually at least funny. Eurotrash understood this very well. God I miss Eurotrash. And HeadF*ck for that matter but it’s probably for the best that David Icke isn’t on TV any more.

Anyway I’ll keep this short...ish. I was thinking about a story my friend Tom told me a few years back. This story is somewhat vulgar by the way of warning. Tom had been on a romantic getaway with his lady to celebrate something or other. Essentially an excuse to have lots of sex in a place other than their home. During one such encounter Tom asks:

“Can I cum on your tits?”

And his girlfriend has THE  best response to this question I’ve ever heard.

“Why?”

Why? Because it’s what happens in porn. Generations of men brought up to want to cum on tits, ass, face, back. Anywhere but the vagina. Which is surely the way sex is meant to work. It’s weird. I remember us all laughing at work about how we had been brainwashed into wanting to do something so completely pointless.

But it gets weirder. When I was thinking about this story I remembered Cream Pie. Cream Pie is a sub-genre of pornography in which the man does cum in the lady’s vagina. Some absolute genius came up with this idea of Cream Pie. Essentially marketing normal sex back to us as a niche genre. What a strange world we live in when we can be sold the idea that normality is a speciality. Just a thought.

Whatever you think about pornography the undeniable truth is that it’s been on the forefront of almost every media breakthrough in history. Photography was quickly adopted by smut-peddlers when it was birthed by Fox Talbot (for no other reason than that he was shit at drawing). Said peddlers jumped straight on the bandwagon when motion pictures were invented. Skipping forward the Betamax and VHS war was abruptly ended when VHS allowed porno producers to distribute on their medium while Sony still refused to allow their superior Betamax system to be sullied. And if you want further evidence I give you THE INTERNET. No Denying that smut peddlers are forward thinking.
