This time of year might be more about three pairs of socks and tennis rackets tied to your boots, but Adidas as about to unveil a trainer worth slipping over for.

Not fussed about bright white Vibram soles and big chunky boots? Are you still one who longs for trainers on your trotters, even in the deepest darkest winter? Well, Aberdeen's Hanon shop are about to release another limited edition footwear collaboration to mark the stores twentieth anniversary - working alongside Adidas to create what could be deemed the perfect winter trainer of this year.

An all time favourite model retold, the Kegler has always maintained a cult following since it's original release as an actual indoor skittles shoe in the early 80s before being adopted on the terraces as an everlasting casual classic. Those with more than a clued up eye may notice the inspiration behind the new look, marrying the familiar look of two old school models the Forest Hills and Samba to create a new unique style. Only available at just three stores worldwide, each shoe comes hand numbered.

Available from Hanon this Friday.
