Following the recent LeCoq Sportif collaboration, Aberdeen's Hanon have teamed up with Puma to release a premium luxury edition of the famous Dallas court shoe, a back catalogue style first introduced in the 80's. Enhanced with a premium application - the uppers are loosely inspired by old school athletic apparel and footwear as well as general colour trends of the eighties.
References are drawn from vintage sportswear and from the Argyle patterns of Scottish knitwear such as golfing sweaters, scarves and socks. Think Ronnie Corbett meets the ASC.
Additional references and details that nod to old school kicks appear in the form of cotton laces and a woven Argyle scarf co-ordinating to the trainers upper.
Completing the pack with a Scottish vibe, each pair will come in a hand numbered wooden whisky style box.
Rounding the shoe off is dual branded detail via the archive old school Macht’s mit Qualitat’ tongue label, with Hanon's exclusive extra detailing.
Both the Dallas barley and burgundy colourways are exclusive to Hanon and released to a strict edition of just 100 and 50 pairs respectively.
All released in April 2011. Click here for more details
