We love a dysfunctional 90’s icon, so who better to take style inspiration from than Juliette Lewis, especially as Mallory in Natural Born Killers?

Granted, Patricia Arquette (Alabama in True Romance) took the kitsch sweetheart-on-the-run crown, but Juliette took the sexy but violent lunatic vibe to new commendable heights.

Take a look at Agyness Deyns’s latest promotional campaign video for Dr Martens and you’ll see just how literally that whole dreamy/seedy road trip 90’s vibe still permeates.

Just like Juliette had her henna phase, Aggy has a dirty red bob, scuffed knees and an (slightly less insane) appetite for spray painting motel rooms.

Commitment to old school Juliette-as-Mallory styling involves round-mirrored sunnies, chokers, khaki, tatts and hot pants, though perhaps not all at once.

Commitment to a look isn’t something you image Mallory had a problem with though. In Natural Born Killers, she displayed a predictably intense show of affection when she ‘married’ Mickey at the side of a bridge: "I do. ‘Til you and I die, and die, and die again. ‘Til death do us part."

Commitment to anything Mallory believed in was her reason et d’etre… and all whilst looking awesome in a crop top.
