10 Years Ago Today: Man United End Arsenal's "Invincibles"

While it's fun to poke fun at Arsenal now - all bluster and arrogance amid a baron spell not befitting a club of their ilk - you can't help but respect and admire the Invincibles.

Going an entire season unbeaten with a perfect team of skill, nous and physicality - it was a practically unprecedented run in modern football and Arsenal fans were quick to ball it up and shove it down your throat.

The magic of it made Man United finally bringing it to an end all the more sweeter and that it was Van Nistelrooy, horse-faced demigod of tap-ins, to strike the final blow was a great big cherry on an already delicious moment.

God, football is brilliant ain't it?
