Are Liverpool Set To Sign Arsenal's Key Strike Target?

Liverpool continue their run of looking to bring in every available or semi-available forward in the land, with ESPN announcing that Rodgers has Loic Remy in his sights, a man who scored 14 in 24 for a poor Newcastle United side last season, as his next target - grabbing him right from under Arsenal's nose.

With a release clause of just £8 million in his QPR contract, the pacey centre-forward would be a brilliant option for Liverpool - faster than Sturridge and way WAY WAY WAY faster than Rickie Lambert, bless him, he's a properly direct, fast striker who will put his head down and gun straight for goal but is also decent enough technically to stop him getting caught out. Just imagine all those through-balls from Sterling, Coutinho, Markovic et all he can run onto... Nice, right?

While he didn't get a fair crack at this summer's World Cup, he's a striker who looks ready-made for the Reds.
