Arsenal: Sign Lewandowski, Remove Mental Block & Laugh At Spurs

The harbingers of doom were out in full force at the beginning of the season, but Wenger has proved once again why he's brilliant. And as for Ramsey...

What’s going right? – the core of the side has performed on a consistent basis. The Mertesacker-Koscielny partnership is without a doubt the most solid in the league, Mathieu Flamini has been a revelation, Mesut Ozil has lifted everyone and shown glimpses of what he can do, and you don’t need to be reminded about Aaron Ramsey’s form.

What’s not? We still seem to have a mental block when facing the top sides.

Got the right manager? Absolutely. I’ve always remained patient with him, even when those around me were turning. The only time I’ve genuinely doubted him and considered wanting him out was on the last transfer deadline day. By this point, our squad was somehow weaker than what it was at the end of the previous season (having sold Gervinho). Bewildered, exasperated, infuriated – just a couple words to describe how me (and I’m sure most Arsenal fans) were feeling. Then he went and pulled Ozil out the bag.

Star player?  Aaron Ramsey.

Who would you like to sell in January? Park Chu-Young…geezer is stealing a living.

Who do you want to sign? A striker who would improve the squad in Giroud’s absence. Lewandowski would do.

Best chant so far? He’s French, he’s free, he’ll break your f*cking knee, Flamini! Flamini!

Best opposition player/team you’ve seen? Everton were very impressive when they came to the Grove, with Ross Barkley standing out in particular. Manchester City were obviously very good, too.

Biggest **** of the season so far? Jose Mourinho has and always will be an insufferable bellend.

Funniest Moment of the season so far? Watching Spurs fall to pieces in typical fashion against City and Liverpool. Can’t smile without you.

End of season prediction? 2nd, behind Manchester City.
