Arsenal And Spurs Youngsters Combine To Send England U17s Through To Euro Last 8

England have progressed to the quarter finals of the u17 European Championships thanks to a wonderful strike by Spurs' Marcus Edwards, who was assisted by Arsenal's Chris Willock.

England are the holders and will be playing Russia in the next round. To defend the title would be a huge achievement and a promising sign, especially considering England play host to the tournament in 2018.

Willock came on at half-time in England's game against the Republic of Ireland and was energetic and explosive throughout the second half. It was he who passed to Edwards before the latter hit an absolutely beautiful curler  into the top corner to snatch the 1-0 victory. The future looks bright for both the Gunners and Spurs if they can keep hold of these gems.
