Arsenal are ahead of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to The Sun.
The Armenian attacker has contributed a whopping 23 goals and 32 assists in 52 games (all competitions) this season. Inevitably, Mkhitaryan has attracted attention from Europe's elite - including top Premier League sides.
It's believed that Chelsea and Spurs are very interested in Mkhitaryan, but Arsenal are his preferred destination. The Gunners are looking to add an attacker who can play wide after a poor showing from Theo Walcott this season. The Bundesliga seems a popular market for Arsenal, who added Granit Xhaka earlier in the window.
Whichever club wins the race for Mkhitaryan, will end up having to pay in the region of £20m, which isn't a huge amount considering the 27-year-old's statistics.
