Arsenal: Could David Ospina Be Your Next Keeper?
Lukasz Fabianski understandably got fed up of seeing Wojciech Szezesny ahead of him as first-choice keeper at club and international level, so he's left Arsenal to join Swansea on a free (although isn't Michel Vorm established as number one there? Odd move).
The Mail reports that Arsenal are tracking Nice keeper David Ospina to take Fabianski's spot next year. He's believed to be available for about £3 million, which would leave Arsene Wenger with enough funds to address the other issues in the squad, although whether he actually will is another matter entirely.
Ospina has been playing in Ligue 1 for six years, and there are some question marks about his temperament, but he's an incredible shot-stopper. Just look at the video above, some of those saves are ridiculous.
Ospina is Colombia's first choice keeper and he played a vital role in his country's outstanding defensive performance during qualifying for the World Cup, where they conceded less goals than any other country.
