Arsenal have been told they must smash their transfer record if they want to sign Gonzalo Higuain.
The Napoli man has been linked with a number of clubs, including the Gunners, this summer.
Arsene Wenger has been a long-time admirer of the former Madrid man, but may be put off by the staggering £67m asking price.
A recent statement from the Italian club read:
"Napoli are keen to make an official clarification based on some newspapers’ claims in articles about the potential transfer of Higuain. The club stresses that the Argentine has an existing contract clause of €94,736,000 (£67m). No bids below that figure will be accepted, those who want the player will have to match that valuation."
It's understood that the North London club could try and test Napoli's resolve with a bid below the release clause.
