Arsenal will be allowed to sign unsettled Raheem Sterling, but only if Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs head up to Anfield, according to ESPN.

Brendan Rodgers, who has just been backed by FSG (Liverpool owners), knows he must strengthen his squad for next season's campaign, but without Champions League football and the lure of big names like Gerrard and Suarez, his options are looking slimmer by the day. With Raheem Sterling jumping ship, the Liverpool boss knows he must use every trick in the book to keep top class quality in his side, and a swap deal like this would be a shrewd move.

According to the report, Liverpool have approached Arsenal over the deal, which would give Rodgers some much needed fire power up front and strength at the back.

What do you think Arsenal and Liverpool fans? Does this sound like a fair deal to you?
