Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez has ruled out the sale of Karim Benzema, leaving Arsenal to revaluate their transfer options.
Fortunately the Gunners have been linked with a number of other top quality strikers who are still available. In the Bundesliga both Marco Reus of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been heavily rumoured to interest Arsene Wenger, with the latter looking like the more attainable option.
Over in France, Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon is another player who would surely relish the move to a club of Arsenal’s stature. So who should Wenger target, or can the likes of Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck step up to a title challenge?
