Exciting 23 year old Hibs midfielder Scott Allan was voted this year's Scottish Championship player of the season, which has attracted the attention of a number of clubs, most notably Celtic and Rangers.

According to The Mail, the Old Firm pair are battling it out for the player's signature, who has a year left on his contract at Easter Road.

Rangers have reportedly already made contact with the player's agents, sparking interest from their rivals who've been keeping a keen eye on Allan this season.

Hibs will be keen to keep hold of their star man after failing to get promoted, but the rumoured £400,000 asking price will be difficult to turn down.
