After a fraught summer transfer window, both Arsenal and Man United will be looking at the business they've done, and the large regret will be missing out on high profile targets. But here's a target that both clubs have been keeping tabs on, and could move for him in the near future.
Juventus and Italy Under 21 centre back Daniele Rugani has been linked with both clubs for the past few months, and after an impressive loan spell at Empoli last season will be looking for first team football at Juventus. The 21 year old is highly thought of by many clubs, and should he become available, there would be widespread interest, though the Premier League giants are the main clubs showing interest at the minute.
His agent has insisted that he won't be sold at the minute, however, "They told me they wouldn’t give him away to anyone and I have to say they have been true to their word."
Man United were linked earlier in the summer, but have since found a solid partnership in defence with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling. Arsenal could be in the market, particularly for a player with so much potential and time to fulfil it, he could be exactly the kind of player Arsene Wengers loves.
