Chelsea humbled by Man City, but who gets the blame?

Well, "Man City should have been down to 9 men"

Man City scored 3 goals as they registered an early victory against the Champions, who have taken just 1 point from their opening 2 games. Mourinho came in for widespread criticism as he used distraction tactics last week, blaming his medical staff as they laboured to a draw against Swansea, and he was in for a rough ride from the opposition fans.

Aguero took the Man of the Match award as Terry was subbed at half-time and Ivanovic struggled to cope with Silva and Sterling, and lost his man as Kompany headed in City's 2nd. There was controversy as Costa took an elbow from Fernandinho, who later added the icing on the cake to make it 3-0, and they had a goal ruled out for offside that perhaps should have stood, Mourinho of course picked up on these points.

Mourinho commented, "The best team in the first half won the game, Chelsea were the best team in the second half."

"They should finish the game with 9 men, Fernandinho should be sent off, and at the end Toure should be punished. We controlled them in the second half, even with the dangerous counter attack, but they didn't make big mistakes, we made 2 big mistakes defensively at the end."

"1 point from 6 is better than 0, I'm quite okay with mathematics, I can also multiply 36 by 3 and see how many points we can get. The (John Terry) substitution was tactical, he has my total trust, we know they play on the counter attack and Zouma is the fastest defender we have."
