Chelsea met with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent in Berlin following the Champions League final and are pushing hard for a deal, according to CalcioMercatoWeb.
The PSG star is currently on huge wages, but will be offered a £7m per-year deal by Chelsea, but even that will mean a pay-cut.
However, it seems the Swede is willing to take the cut in return for a 3-year-deal. Such a long-term deal is uncommon for players of Ibrahimovic's age (33). It's also thought that he's excited at the prospect of working under ex-boss Jose Mourinho. The pair worked together during their time at Inter Milan and were hugely successful.
Ibrahimovic managed 30 goals and 8 assists in all competitions this season, despite having injury troubles early on. His talent is unquestionable, regardless of his age and he'd be an extremely good replacement for a departing Didier Drogba.
