Chelsea To Steal Arsenal & Man United Star Spanish Target

It's never easy, the end of an era.

When Frank Lampard announced his exit from Stamford Bridge this week, there wasn't a dry eye in the house - but cheer up, Chelsea fans, because according to the Telegraph, there might be some good, Cesc Fabregas-shaped news just around the corner.

The Spanish midfielder, who is looking increasingly likely to leave Barcelona over the summer, has long been linked with a move to Manchester United - but Van Gaal's boys missing out on Europe looks set to put paid to those rumours (for now, at least).

Across the capital from Stamford Bridge, Fab's old club Arsenal are said to have first option on the midfielder, but have not responded to tip offs that Barcelona may be willing to allow their midfielder to depart Camp Nou. Perhaps the £30million transfer fee poses something of a problem for the long-coat Wenger.

That news will have delighted Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who has money to spend, and could seize upon Manchester City's on-going struggles with their star player Yaya Toure, in order to seal a quickfire move for the Spaniard.
