Chelsea's Spanish Playmaker Struggles For Form

Cesc not looking fab right now

Cesc Fabregas has been out of sorts at the start of this season, carrying on from the end of last season in which he looked a little jaded and burnt out from a long season. Sadly, he has not begun this season in his usual form and Chelsea have struggled early on.

He started for Spain as they looked for a vital win against unbeaten group leaders Slovakia, and they took an early lead thanks to a wonderful assist from Man City linchpin David Silva for Jordi Alba, and added a second through a Andres Iniesta penalty.

Fabregas cut a frustrated figure as he was substituted in the second half for Arsenal's Santi Cazorla, as the Chelsea midfielder's poor form continues.

He laid on an assist for the first goal, and popped up in the final third creating chances throughout the game.
