Jo Inge Berget didn't get much of a chance at Celtic and it's increasingly looking like a decision that the club might regret.
Arriving on loan from Cardiff last season, Berget scored twice on his home debut for Celtic last season, only to fall out of favour with his fellow Norwegian Ronny Deila. The Scottish champions decided to not take up their option to purchase Berget on a permanent deal and he moved back to Scandinavia with the Swedish club Malmo.
It was a move that would prove to have dire consequences for Celtic as the teams were paired in the Champions League qualifying games. Berget scored both of Malmo's away goals as Celtic won 3-2 in the first leg of their tie and then was one of the best players as his side won 2-0 to dump the Scots out of the competition.
Now Berget is showing his ability on the international stage. He was the main man as Norway beat Croatia 2-0 to rise to the top of their Euro 2016 qualifying group, scoring a brilliant goal and having another shot deflected into the net off Vedran Corluka.
Did Celtic make a huge mistake in not giving Berget more of a chance? Watch his superb goal below and decide.
