Long term Man United-target Everton Ribeiro has been the subject of an 'unsuccessful bid' from an 'unnamed English club', according to the Express. While that all sounds deliciously covert and fun, Moyes should really pull his finger out and snap up the Brazilian before someone else does.

The 24-year-old Sao Paolo-born player has been impressive since his move to Cruzeiro, chipping in with a few goals and a whole heap more in assists. With supreme skill, quick feet and an eye for opening up a defence, he'd be a canny signing - even with a rumoured £10million price-tag.
