Ex-Leeds United man Jermaine Beckford is in full renascence mode for Preston North End in the Play-Offs. Today he immortalised himself by scoring a hat-trick at Wembley as Preston gained promotion to the Championship.

The 31-year-old Beckford has been released by his parent club Bolton Wanderers and is reportedly in high demand. It's thought that Leeds, Preston and Wigan are all keen on the player. The experienced forward would be a fantastic asset for any Championship side.

Beckford scored 72 goals in 126 appearances for Leeds and a return would certainly lift the Elland Road faithful. Morale boosts are few and far between for Leeds fans these days and they could really use one.

When asked if he's staying at Preston, Beckford replied "We'll see" with a big grin across his face.
