Forget Luke Shaw, Here's The Left-Back Man United Should Sign
England's biggest clubs might all be batting their eyelashes in Luke Shaw's direction, but there's another young left-back that's also attracting admiring glances as well. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City are all eyeing Sevilla's Alberto Moreno, according to the Metro.
He's being labelled as the consolation prize for whoever misses out on Shaw, but he's a hugely talented left-back in his own right. The 21-year-old, who's more Jordi Alba than Alvaro Arbeloa, is valued at around £30 million as a result of his impressive performances this season and his huge potential. Of course, he's a talented Spaniard, so Real Madrid are eyeing him as well.
Shaw is believed to be a Chelsea fan, which clearly gives the Blues an edge in the race to sign him, so United might be better off just going straight for Moreno, instead of waiting for inevitable disappointment with Shaw. Patrice Evra could be leaving in the summer, but even if he stays, he can't be expected to play every week at 33-years-old. Alexander Büttner was actually alright against Bayern, but he's not good enough for United, or even the Premier League.
Should United sign the young Spaniard this summer?
