Arsenal and Liverpool target Alexandre Lacazette got tails wagging in North London today after ruling out a move to Anfield, according to The Telegraph.

The 23 year old, who bagged 29 goals for Lyon last season, told La Parisienne that he would only leave his current club for Champions League football.

Wenger is known to be a fan of the striker, but it was Liverpool who were most closely linked with him last season.

The news will be a blow to Brendan Rodgers, who desperately needs to fill the void left by Suarez, with Balotelli also likely to make a summer exit.

What do you reckon Liverpool fans? Where should Rodgers be looking to strengthen the squad for next season's campaign? Let us know in the comments below.
