It's a done deal. Celtic have agreed a fee of £1.5m with Dundee United for the transfer of Turkish forward Nadir Ciftci, according to the BBC.

If in any doubt as to his ability, watch his highlights reel and imagine him banging them in wearing a Celtic shirt. With 33 goals in two seasons so far for Dundee, Ciftci has no problem banging them in, and should make Celtic an even stronger force next season. 

Having said that, Ciftci is due to answer an 'excessive misconduct' charge later this month after biting a player on the leg on the final day of last season. He'll probably need to rein that in a bit.

It's understood the player turned down a move to Wigan to stay in Scotland and join Celtic, and the fans were overjoyed. Here's some of the best reactions.
