Uwe Rosler seemingly followed my Swarmation advice yesterday and reshuffled the team to get the best out of his young stars. On Wednesday, young left-back Charlie Taylor was linked as a replacement for Luke Shaw at Manchester United, and he was central to both goals in Leeds’s victory over MK Dons yesterday.
He was pulled down for a penalty after a penetrating run into the opposition area for the first goal, and scored an absolute belter for the second. Driving down the left wing, he just kept going and going, checking on the edge of the area thinking there should be a pass on, and then, realising he was still being unchallenged, took two steps on and hammered it low across the goal and into the back of the net.
The Leeds fans went absolutely wild. You want proof? Check this clip from our friend @tdski_LUFC
