On this day in 1993, Leeds United met Manchester United in the FA Youth Cup semi-final second leg and the game will always be remembered for Jamie Forrester's stunning acrobatic effort.
31,000 fans made the trip to Elland Road for the match and the fantastic show of support was repaid with a great game of football. Leeds held a 2-0 aggregate lead and were firmly in the driving seat. Forrester's overhead effort was the opening goal and already all but sealed Leeds' place in the final. A young Paul Scholes gave Manchester United hope, but the tie was put to bed less than a minute after that when Matthew Smithard fired in Leeds' second of the night.
