Liverpool: Signing Chelsea's Lukaku Could Make You Forget Luis
According to reports, Romelu Lukaku could be set for a shock move to Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers extremely keen to bring the Belgian to Anfield.
After Luis Suarez's transfer to Barcelona was confirmed by the Catalan club, Liverpool - according to the Guardian - expressed their interest in Lukaku to Chelsea, who are willing to sell Lukaku should a suitable bid come their way.
The potential move will surely anger the blue half of Merseyside, as Lukaku became a fan favourite with Everton supporters during his season long loan at the club; should his move to Liverpool come to fruition, this status will surely vanish.
Liverpool have already secured the services of Rickie Lambert this summer, and Divock Origi looks set to join the club from Lille with Wilfried Bony also mentioned. Fabio Borini and flop Iago Aspas may well be on the way out of the club, so Rodgers is looking to strengthen his frontline in order to cope with the demands of Champions League Football next season, but is he looking to replace Suarez with too many of the same sort of player?
