He’s likely to be on the plane to Brazil in the summer - and it looks like he could also be the subject of a transfer tug o’ war before next season kicks off.

Southampton captain, Adam Lallana, who has been in the form of his life this year, has been attracting flirtatious glances from across the Premier League, and there are three clubs waiting patiently in the wings should Saints allow him to exit the south coast.

Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers is known to be a big fan of the skilful midfielder, and is reportedly readying himself to make a £20 million bid for the 25 year old - with the player, who was a boyhood Liverpool fan, already having set his heart on a move to Anfield.

The star would be the perfect signing to stick in the hole behind Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, and Liverpool are willing to double his £35,000 per week wages to take him to the north west.

That news will be a massive blow to Manchester United and Chelsea, who have both been tracking the the player for months, and were looking to do a double deal alongside Lallana’s teammate Luke Shaw.

It depends what he wants to do with his Career. Sit on the bench & be part of a 10 man defence at the strikers graveyard Chelsea. Play for a fading light at man utd. Star at an upcoming force with fellow young English internationals for a manager who will improve him no end.
