Man United: Dump Nani & Sign Cuadrado, Win The League
Last season Man United wingers Nani, Ashley Young, and Antonia Valencia only managed four goals between them in the league. FOUR. United may have had slightly bigger issues (David Moyes), but that definitely didn't help.
New boss Louis van Gaal is looking to improve his options out wide, and the club are close to signing Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado for £27.5 million, according to talkSPORT last week.
James Rodriguez may have got the headlines for Colombia at the World Cup, but Cuadrado played his part as well - he set up four goals, more than anyone else in the tournament. The 26-year-old also scored 11 goals, registered five assists, and completed more take-ons than any other player in Serie A last year. He's a bit special.
United aren't his only admirers, and the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also interested, so the club probably need to move quickly, but he'd be a great signing.
Defenders have worked out Antonio Valencia will only ever run down the flank in a straight line, it feels weird to think Ashley Young was once an exciting winger at Aston Villa, and Nani might just be the most frustrating player in the league. Cuadrado will finally give the club a threat out wide once again.
Do United fans want to see him at Old Trafford?
